While services are not free, a low-resource community investment in TxTC services provides student internship opportunities, student scholarships, travel costs, and cost of materials and supplies needed for projects.

Texas A&M University students who work on TxTC projects are closely guided by faculty and staff who monitor their quality work, which results in insightful and beneficial deliverables for each community.

Below is the general process that TxTC follows while working with our communities. The typical comprehensive planning process takes six to nine months to ensure thorough and high quality deliverables.

Equip

We help communities access the tools necessary to make the most of local time, talent, and treasure. We can work with community members, stakeholders, city and county staff,  extension agents, non-profit organizations and more to focus on needs identified by the partner community and TxTC staff. Equipping workshops can include:

Assist

We work to supplement local capacity through high-impact, service learning activities. TxTC faculty and students work through a variety of courses and studio projects to address concerns, needs, projects, or persistent problems identified by the community. Technical assistance can include:
