Available to university faculty, staff, students, non-profit organizations and community members, Texas A&M University’s Aggieland Serves is a volunteer engagement platform that builds a bridge between the university and our communities to advance the core value of selfless service. Aggieland Serves tracks and facilitates volunteerism and community engaged learning, while also offering service programming, training and recognition.

The Community Impact Awards are presented by the Student Government Association in collaboration with the Office of Community Engagement. This award recognizes individual students, faculty and staff for outstanding selfless service through volunteerism and improving local and university communities as part of our land-grant mission and is presented each spring semester.

Hosted by the City of Bryan and Destination Bryan, Maroon & White night is an opportunity for all Texas A&M University and System employees, retirees and their loved ones to network, collaborate and socialize while experiencing live entertainment, vibrant art, local cuisine, unique bars and exclusive shops in downtown.

The SECC was created through legislation in 1993 to raise funds for charitable organizations throughout the state, the nation and the world. The campaign allows state employees to designate their charitable giving through payroll deductions to a list of more than 1000 vetted charitable organizations. The campaign runs from September 1 through October 31 each year.

The Volunteer Opportunities Fair is organized by the Office of Community Engagement and the Student Government Association. Occurring annually in conjunction with the Sept. 11th National Day of Service, around 50 local non-profit groups are on site to provide information about beneficial volunteer opportunities.
